Simple faith habits that changed my life as a Christian woman.
The first step in becoming a Christian is accepting Jesus. This is the easiest part of living a life of faith.
But after receiving Jesus into your life, many struggle with growing in faith and what to do next.
After decades of being a Christian and working in ministry, I will share some simple faith habits you can start tomorrow to change your life.
I’m only going to list a few so it doesn’t overwhelm you and can fit into a busy schedule.
Read the Bible consistently.
One thing I am passionate about in life and for other Christian women is inspiring them to read their Bible consistently.

- Feeling spiritually stagnant drops by 60%
- Viewing pornography drops 61%
- Sharing your faith jumps 200%

I love it when Biblical truths are confirmed through science.
The catch in exponential growth was when a person reads the Bible four days out of the week.
That’s when real change happened.
Read the Bible at least four days per week.
This simple faith habit can change your life.
My life feels different during the months I consistently read my Bible.
I have more peace, less stress, and more patience with myself and others.

Take time to pray
Taking time each day to pray for your life and those you love is a simple faith habit that I believe will change your life.
I know that time is probably the most valuable resource you have.
If you’re like me and constantly feel like you are a marathon runner, time is precious.
But I know taking time daily to pray is the most important habit I can do for my faith, family, and personal well-being.
Here is what I do to make sure I get my prayer time in: I put it on the schedule.
Set a timer and pray.
I set a timer for 12 minutes and pray daily for specific things.
This simple faith habit has changed my prayer life.
Right now, I am working two jobs and building a personal brand. And the two most important things I do daily are read my Bible and pray.
If I don’t do these two things every day, I can tell the difference, and so can my family.

Practice thankfulness.
Some people call it gratitude.
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
If you want to grow your faith, start by being grateful.
Every day, I write out things I am grateful and thankful for; it has changed my life.
As I mentioned above, I love it when science proves the Bible.
Here is a Research article about the effects of gratitude on mental and physical health.
How can you make this a new simple faith habit?
Get a journal or notepad and write things you are grateful for daily or weekly.
This is the easiest and fastest way to change your life. Starting to be grateful and thankful to God for your life.
This will help you shift your focus onto things that will lift and build you up.
I pray that you can incorporate these simple faith habits into your life. I know if you do, your faith will go. If this article helped you, please share it with others.
